OR ANY ACTING JUSTICE OF THE PEACE FOR SAID COUNTY --- Greetings

These are to authorize you to solemise the rites of Matrimony between
George Cook  and Margarette E Carnes
of your county agreebly to an act of Assembly, in such cases made and provided: Provided always, that the said
M E Carnes  be an actual resident of this county, otherwise these shall be null and void.
and not be accounted any License or authority to you, or either of you, for the purpose aforesaid, more than though
the same had never been prayed or granted.  Given under my hand at the Clerk Office in said county, this 12
