The 1910 Census (Brown Twp., Seminole Co., OK) states that Thomas is on his fourth marriage while “Lizzie” is on her first. Other online data indicates that his prior wife, Amanda J. Millsaps and their two children all died in 1899-1900 and are buried near
Lexington, OK, right after Thomas and Elizabeth had
their first child, Ruby, in the same location. I’m
guessing that either Thomas and Amanda had split
before Amanda’s death, or possibly Ruby was in fact
Amanda’s daughter but raised by Elizabeth.
