Nancy Ann, daughter of John and Mary Ann Overall was born June 4th, 1794, and married Abraham Bowman, February, 8th, 1816. They moved to Ky., and settled about fourteen miles above Louisville near the Ohio River where their four sons were born, Vis- John William, born Nov. 17, 1816; Joseph L. born Sept. 5th, 1819 and died Aug, 1822. Isaac Gatewood born Oct. 18th, 1820; and Abraham Hite, Born Dec. 8th, 1822, died Dec. 16, 1822. John William Bowman, the first born was married twice, one child, Kitty by first wife and she died in infancy. And eight children by second marriage to Mary Ann McGower. They moved to Mo., and he died June 5th, 1887. John Gatewood Bowman married in Ky., Miss Mary C. Armstrong. They now live in Webb, Texas. Eleven children and many grand children are the fruit of this union.
