Jacob Overall - 1779-1844, third son of John and Elisabeth Waters Overall moved to DeKalb Co., Tennessee, in about 1805 and married Nancy Lawrence. Eight children as follows: Viz - Jacob, Israel, Jackson, Lucinda, Isaac, Wesley, Jane and Melinda. The writer knows but little of the decendents of Jacob Overall, but there are many of them in Texas and some in Tennessee. John W. Overall, U. S. Marshall for Tennessee, who lived in Nashville, Tennessee, is a son of Wesley and a grandson of Jacob.
