Dies At Home In Dyer After Lon g 
Illness 
DYER, Tenn ., March 18.—Mrs . 
Carrie Carne, wife of A. N. Carne, 
prominent business man here, die d 
at her home this morning at 
o'clock following an illness of several 
months. 
Mrs. Carne was a member and a 
teacher of the Dyer Methodis t 
Church, and was also vice presiden t 
of the Parent-Teacher Association . 
She was born and reared in Gibson 
County, and had lived her e 
practically all of her life . 
Besides her husband, she is survived 
by three children, John Em , 
of Lambuth College, Jackson, Marguerite 
and Nathaniel of Dyer; two 
brothers, Wallace and Arthur Hut-
chinson-of Dyer ; two sisters, Mrs. 
Howard Turner of Dyer, and Mrs. 
C. C. Kennedy of St. Louis, Mo. 
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
