Gibson County Deed Book P page 291 Harris Baily || Registered December 28th 1852 To && Deed || This indenture made this 22nd day of March in the Baker Harrison || year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one (sic) between Harris Bailey of Gibson County and the state of Tennessee of the one part and Baker Harrison of the county of Gibson and the state of Tenn- essee of the other part witnesseth ___ the said Harris Bailey for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars paid to him in hand paid by the said Baker Harrison in the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has given granted bargained sold alunated consigned and confirmed unto the said Baker Harrison his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land situated lying & being in the county of Gibson state of Tennessee beginning at an oak nine poles north of Daniel Conleys South most Corour thence north with Conley's line two hundred poles to a Sassfras thence west one hundred and sixty poles to a white oak with a dogwood & white oak pointers thence south two hundred poles to a hickory with white oak pointers thence east one hundred and six poles to the beginning containing two hundred acres more or less being the tract of land deeded to me by John Blackburn for the sum labor named to have and to hold the aforesaid land with all the singular and rights profits emulunants hereditaments and appurtinances of in and to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Baker Harrison his heirs and assigns forever and teh said Harris Bailey for himself do bind his heirs executors and administrators by covenant and agree with thesaid Baker Harrison his hdirs or assigns that the before rec ited land and bargained premises will warranty and forever defend against the rights ____ interest or claims of all and every person what- soever.
