Carrie Mabel Carne, was born June 30, 1890 - died March 17, 1935. Age 44 years, 8 mo, 14 days. She was married Dec 25, 1907 to Arthur N. Carne. To this union was born 3 children, John Em, Marguerite, and Nat. The life of Carrie Carne was short in years but full in service to her Lord and all who needed sympathy, encouragement, and help. Her homelife was ideal. From early childhood when she became a member of M.E. Church, she naturally filled places for rendering service in the young peoples works. Later she was a most efficient teacher in the Sunday school. The missionary society found her always ready to lead and do a willing part in the Kingdom work of the church. In the passing of our friend and Sister we have lost one whom we shall miss but know full well how happy she is with the commendation Well done thou good and faithful Servants, enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Her life as wife, mother, Sister and friend has been an inspiration to all who knew her and the memory of the beautiful Christian Life will always encourage others to be like her who knew so well the meaning of the abundant life made rich by close fellowship with her Lord. Surviving are her husband Arthur N. Carne, three children, John Em, Marguerite and Nat, and two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Kennedy, Mrs Howard Turner Two brothers Arthur and Wallace Hutchison.
